Baz Luhrmann and the solid of Elvis walked the crimson carpet final evening for the Sydney premiere of the extremely anticipated biopic.
The Aussie filmmaker was joined by the movie’s stars Austin Butler (who performs Elvis Presley), Olivia DeJonge (who performs Priscilla Presley) and Tom Hanks (who performs Elvis’ supervisor Colonel Tom Parker).
And the occasion was as glitzy because the King’s legendary jumpsuits, with Luhrmann even carrying a “private diamond ring from somebody known as EP”, referring to the bling he had been carrying on his finger throughout the promotional path.
“You recognize, once I was like 20, I might save up my cash and go to the movie competition on the State Theatre,” he instructed Vogue on the crimson carpet, which was held at Sydney’s State Theatre. “I used to love rug up, I might have my thermos and see 300 films.”
Talking of rugging up, Butler recalled the second he hilariously despatched Luhrmann an audition video of himself enjoying ‘Unchained Melody’ in a gown.
“The Baz function factor, it wasn’t consciously a bathrobe second,” he cleared up this morning throughout an interview with As we speak leisure reported Brooke Boney.
