FESTIVALS: Kutaisi ISFF 2022 Pronounces Lineup

KUTAISI: Fifteen movies have been chosen for the primary competitors of brief fiction movies on the second version of the Kutaisi Worldwide Brief Movie Pageant, which is able to happen 24 – 29 September 2022. One other 15 titles have been chosen for the brief documentary movies competitors.

4 Golden Dinosaurs shall be awarded within the two competitors programmes: Greatest Brief Fiction Movie, Greatest Director of a Brief Fiction Movie, Greatest Brief Documentary and Greatest Director of a Brief Documentary. The Movie Critics’ Jury will announce the “Mikheil Kobakhidze” Award.

9 Georgian movies are competing on the competition.

The main target nation of the version is Ukraine, and the administrators in focus are Jonas Mekas, Otar Iosseliani and Aleksandre Koberidze. The programme features a Panorama of Georgian Brief Movies and Georgian Movie Heritage, in addition to a presentation of the Worldwide Brief Movie Pageant Oberhausen and a script growth workshop.

Guga Kotetishvili, Leo Gabriadze and Katya Krausova will maintain masterclasses.

The competition is supported by the Kutaisi Municipality Metropolis Corridor, the Georgian Nationwide Movie Heart, the Public Broadcaster of Georgia, Resort KUTAISI – INN, TBC Idea, Goethe-Institut Georgia, l’Institut Français de Géorgie, the Embassy of Lithuania in Tbilisi, the Kutaisi State Historic Museum, the Vaziani Vineyard, Studio Phonograph, StudioBicycle, CONTACT studio and the Khetsuriani Vineyard.
